Walls
"Walls are great for keeping your village safe and your enemies in the line of fire."
I wouldn't argue! While the walls to a few people may seem like a useless part of the game, they are extremely useful if placed correctly.
Placement Strategies
The whole point of walls is to keep the enemies at bay while defenses fire at them. Because of this, it is recommended to put defenses within the walls and non-resource buildings on the outside.
A double-wall technique is useless if your opponent has Wall Breakers, because they can destroy the inner and outer layers.
Archers and Wizards can shoot over walls, so you may also want to put non-resource buildings behind the first layer of walls.
Do not try to lure away Wall Breakers with lone walls, as they only target walls that are partially or completely covering a building.
If you have many walls, creating a barrier on the edges of the map is completely useless, as troops can be spawned outside of the edges of the map.
