Barbarian

 

"This fearless warrior relies on his bulging muscles and striking moustache to wreak havoc in enemy villages. Release a hord of Barbarians and enjoy the mayhem!"

 

The barbarian looks like a man with a fierce expression, blond hair, and a yellow handlebar moustache. He wears a brown kilt with a leather belt and a shield shaped buckle. He has spiked wristbands on both arms, and he has a pair of leather sandals. The Barbarian yields a short broadsword in his right hand.

 

Offensive Strategies

A good strategy for placing Barbarians is placing them in spread groups from 4-6, so that they don't all get picked off at once by a Mortar or Wizard Tower. Placing 10-15 Barbarians far away from a Mortar or Wizard Tower is also suggested, as with these many you can easily destroy the buildings farther away from the center.

 

If you find a village with builder's huts off to the sides, spread 1-3 barbarians next to each one to destroy them while you take down the rest of the base.

 

Barbarians can act as a distracting troop to bait troops out of the clan castle.

 

Barbarians are good for quickly getting rid of Barbarian Kings or Archer Queens, though with a new update using them for bait may not be possible.

 

Upgrade Appearance Differences

When your Barbarian reaches level 3, the Barbarian gets a leather headband with a silver spike and the sword size increases.

 

Upon reaching level 5, the Barbarian will get a Viking helmet and a bronze sword.

 

At level 6, the Barbarian gets a dark iron sword and has a mighty horned helmet, with a face mask. Everything else turns a darker shade of brown as well.
